Rev. Wanda was born and raised in the south. Her parents were flower growers. In the 1980s, she moved to Minnesota while pursuing a career in professional theatre. It was there she met her late husband, Tom Johnson, in church.
Tom had two children, and together they have five grandchildren. She has been a priest since 1995.
She spent thirty years in Minnesota before moving to New York in 2012. She has enjoyed camping, running and traveling. She was involved in creation care in MN, and looks to continue that endeavor in NY.
She is excited about being at St. Matthew’s, and looks forward to finding a new home in the Horseheads/Elmira area.
